Beryl is the pride of the Happier Campers fleet. She is a ‘hippy green’ and white 1979 T2 camper with an elevating green and white striped pop-top roof. We’ve owned Beryl since 1996 over which time she has been on many adventures with us throughout the UK and Europe.

With her recent restoration and refit she now boasts a top of the range VanWurks interior with full two tone Italian leather trim. She features all the retro styling you would expect from a 1970s camper together with all the modern interior features you'd expect for any modern day camping trip. If you want to turn heads as you roll onto the campsite, then Beryl is the bus for you.

Beryl is the ideal camper if you are holidaying as a couple although up to four people can travel in her as she has 4x three point seat belts.  There is a 3/4 width bed that sleeps two adults with the option of extra sleeping in an awning.

Cooking facilities consist of a two burner gas hob and there is a sink with on-board water supply. Beryl has a cute fridge which works whilst you are parked or whilst you drive so you can ensure there are cold beers on your arrival and ices cubes in the freezer compartment for your gin and tonic!

There is electrical hook up for when you are on a campsite and she is equipped with a leisure battery for your ‘off grid’ adventures. If the nights are chilly there is a gas/electric propex heater to keep you cosy.

There is plenty of storage space in Beryl.  We recommend you unpack your bags and stock the cupboards before you leave home so you are not cluttering the living space with bulky bags.

With opening front quarter light windows you can let the warm air flow through the cab as you stream your favourite tunes through the DAB/Bluetooth four speaker stereo. There are also USB points for charging phones and devices.
