Returns Terms and Conditions

  1. You have the right to cancel an order for any reason and at any time prior to the goods being dispatched.
  2. Once the goods have been dispatched, you have a statutory right, known as the ‘seven day cooling off period’ where you may cancel your order.  This must be done within seven working days of receipt of receiving the goods.  This right of cancellation does not apply if the goods have been modified or fitted by yourself (unless found to be faulty).  Should you cancel the order, you then have a further 14 days to return the goods.
  3. Before returning any goods, please contact us either by using the Cancellation Form, by email at hello@happiercampers.co.uk or by phone on 0161 637 0080 to notify us of your intention to cancel.
  4. Returned goods must not have been fitted and must be in a re-saleable condition, unless the reason for the return is due to the goods being faulty.
  5. The customer must meet the cost of the carriage for the returned goods.
  6. The returned goods must be packaged to the same standard they were received in and include proof of purchase.
  7. We suggest you use the Post Office to return your item(s), ensuring you obtain proof of postage.
  8. A full refund (excluding the cost of postage and packaging) will be given within 14 days of receipt of the returned goods.  Should the goods be damaged due to how they were packaged for returning, there may be reduction in the amount of refund given.  We will contact you to discuss if this was to happen.
  9. We will try wherever possible, to refund using the same method used for payment.  If this method is not reasonably possible, a refund will be made by cheque.

Return of Unwanted Goods

  1. You are free to return unwanted goods within 30 days from date of the invoice provide that:
    – The goods have not been fitted and are in a re-saleable condition.  If they are not in a re-saleable condition, we reserve the right to refuse a refund or deduct up to 20% off the purchase price.
    – The goods are returned at your own expense and risk.  We recommended you send the returned goods by recorded delivery.  We may arrange a courier on your behalf.  The cost of doing this would be agreed in advance and deducted from your refund.  Regardless of how the returned goods are sent, Happier Campers cannot accept any responsibility for goods lost in transit.
  2. Unwanted goods received after 30 days are subject to a 20% handling charge.  No unwanted goods can be returned after 90 days (unless they are deemed faulty).
  3. We will issue the refund for the price of the goods and not any delivery costs.  This will be made within 14 days of receipt of the returned goods.
  4. If an exchange is required;
    – Should you wish to exchange a product, the new product will be sent once the original has been received.
    – If the new product is more expensive, the balance must be paid, together with the delivery costs, prior to the goods being sent.
    – If the new product is cheaper, we will refund the difference less the cost for delivery of the new product.

Return of Faulty Goods or Not of Satisfactory Quality

  1. Please notify us at your earliest convenience of any intention to return goods that you believe to be damaged or faulty.  This must be done either in writing to hello@happiercampers.co.uk or by phone (0161 637 0080).  We will need to agree the best method for returning the item (whether we arrange a collection or you return), before the item is returned.  Happier Campers cannot accept any responsibility for goods lost in transit.
  2. Once we receive the returned good we will examine them.  If a fault is obvious, we will process a repair/replacement/refund accordingly within 7 days of receiving the goods.  If the fault is not obvious, we may need to return the product to our supplier for testing.  This can take 4-6 weeks to receive a response.
  3. If a refund is required we will refund the price you paid for the goods, plus the cost of the original postage and the cost of the postage for returning the item.  If a replacement item is sent, we will refund the cost of the postage for returning the item.  If the item is repaired, we will refund the cost of the postage for returning the item.
  4. If it is found that the fault or damage is not due to faulty manufacture but down to the misuse or damage sustained after purchase, or subject to not being fitted as per any instructions provided, or subject to normal wear and tear, we will contact you to discuss if you wish for the item to be repaired and/or returned.  The cost of the repair and return of the goods to you will be met by yourself.
